I have been in search of a nice rocker for my 8 week old son. I previously bought a FP newborn rock n play which is very popular, however the downside is the very hard plastic backing all FP stuff has that can cause/increase flattening of the head on a baby. This chair is nice and wide(baby can turn it's head as he should) and it has 2 positions, one that is more sunken cradle and one that is upright. The rocking motion is limited but all rockers are. The kickstand is nice when you don't want to rock. The colors are vibrant. The toy bar comes off easily so this may or may not pose a problem for some active children. The vibrations are ok, but we never really cared about having them anyway. The 5 point harness is a bit of a pain, but I can see that it is necessary if you have a heavier active older baby in the upright position. I haven't washed it yet but I am glad that you can as some rockers you can not wash the fabric which is completely stupid. Very easy to put together. I will keep you posted if I see any negatives as we use it more! Overall for the price I think it's cheerful and works well, most importantly I can have my son move his head side to side and not deal with a hard supportive surface.

my baby has had it since he was born but didn't stay in it for more than 20 min, but since he was about 6 months he plays on this and falls asleep by himself that's why I love it, I can go do the laundry and stuff while he's sleeping, such a life saver!!!

Update: At 3 months, my baby is now enjoying this but didn't at first.Original review: Not sure why he doesn't like it (of course) but I have noticed that my baby (now 7 weeks, has had it since 3 weeks) isn't happy in this. There may not be anything wrong with the design, some babies just don't like certain gear, but I just wanted to put this case out there. It also doesn't rock much, like you have to keep manually moving it for it to keep rocking. This is annoying since I thought it would rock on its own. It does seem more comfortable than Fisher Price though. I will hold onto it until he's older and can push it himself because I do like the feature that it lasts for a while.
