I bought this for my wife and she loves it. I have even tried it on with our 14lb two month old son to see how it felt and I could barely even tell he was there. There was absolutely no pressure on my back and he was happy and comfy. As soon as my wife puts him in the he passes right out a majority of the time. He seems to enjoy her warmth. The hood that it has is great in windy conditions. I would highly recommend this to anyone that has a child. We tried all the other styles (slings, wraps) and none of them can compare to this.

I purchased this carrier after having my second daughter and my only regret is that I didn't buy one for my first. I wore my first in a moby wrap (which I still love), a ring sling, a padded peanut shell sling and a mei tai. The ERGO is by far my favorite!! It is so convenient to simply buckle it around my waist, put baby on my chest, sling the straps over my shoulders and hook it in the back. The ERGO was especially helpful when I would need to transfer a sleeping baby from her car seat to the carrier for errands because I could transition her so smoothly. No need to "bounce" the baby into place or endlessly pull on straps to get the carrier to fit right each time before tying. Just a nice smooth transition where she could fall right back to sleep. I also love how padded the shoulder straps are. It is really so comfortable to wear! Even my 23lb 8 month old is comfortable to wear for the duration of a grocery shopping trip or a short walk to the park with her sister.My only gripe with this carrier in particular is the fact that it doesn't have a zippered pocket on the front. I have another ERGO and I find I use that one far more often for every-day stuff because I can put my keys/phone/wallet in that front pocket as opposed to carrying another small bag with me. Other than that, it's wonderful, beautiful, functional, and I get compliments on it each and every time I wear my daughter in it!
