I haven't had the chance to use this product in the rain; however, I've been using it in times when it has been really cold or windy outside like when I drop off my son at my mom's @ 530AM. She lives in an apartment, so I have quite a walk to do, I don't have to deal with blankets falling off. I just put the baby brella and go, and I know that my son remains warm inside the car seat!

I absolutely love it! It is a real shame that Baby Delight has discontinued this product, I really had to search to find it. I have the blue and beige nylon shield, not the bright colored fleece one. I brought this product as a gift for two friends after having used it for my youngest daughter.1. It fits easily over an infant car seat and protects your baby from the elements while allowing you to transport your baby with ease.2. It is much better than draping a blanket over your baby because it keeps out the wind, rain and cold keeping your baby warm and dry while letting in the air and allowing you to see your baby at all times.3. It is also more convenient than those large plastic stroller covers because you don't have to put it on and take it off when you are bringing your baby indoors/outdoors or putting your baby in the car.4. It reduces the need for layers of clothing and bulky snowsuits. I traveled by car and when I started using this product, my daughter never used her snowsuit unless we were going to be outside for a prolonged period of time. In the winter she usually wore a warm hat and a warm sweater/jacket. Once I covered her with a JJ Cole Urban Bundle Me (another must have) and this weather shield she was good to go.I highly recommend this product. It is a must have for anyone who uses an infant car seat.

I just had my fourth child, and boy do I wish that I had this for them all! If it is a windy, rainy, or cold day, you just have to toss this over the car seat and you're set. Just throwing a blanket over the seat is no where near as good. A blanket gets all wet in the rain and blows away in the wind. This fits securely on the car seat, and even has a little window in front so that baby can still see you. A great product!
