I got this little twisty toy for my almost 6 month old, and he really enjoys it. Though you can't really tell from looking at the picture, this toy is made with elastics, allowing baby to twist and bend it any which way. It has a nice little bell attached to it, that makes sound when baby plays with it. Cute colors, great clutching toy for the development of baby's fine motor skills.Though Haba does outsource some of its manufacturing to China, this one is made in Germany, which means very stringent laws regarding use of non-toxic materials. Overall: another great quality toy by Haba!UPDATE: After my son has been playing with this toy on an almost daily basis for about 6-8 weeks now (which by now includes dropping toys from his high chair), I discovered today that one of the blue wooden links had broken in half. The toy is still playable, and it does not look like he can hurt himself, yet that is something that I had not expected and should not happen. I will let him continue to play with this toy, but will contact Haba about this...
