My dad ran out and bought this swing for my son when he was 1 month old. I was having a hard time putting him down in a comfy place at their house they have cats and leather couches not very baby friendly. My son has used it for the last 6 months he loves it... hi is 21 pounds now at 6 months. Very advanced baby. I had to remove the little lambs because he could reach them now and pulls on them when they are turning. He loves the stars and the music. He really has been too advanced for this swing for a while now since he does not like to sit back and recline since he can sit up on his own since he was 3.5 months. But he still uses it about 2 to 3 times a week while I shower or I am busy doing something and I want him busy but contained. I do wish the cradle sat up more for older babies up to 25lbs and I wish I could make the legs taller. I have been thinking of selling it or taking the cradle off and letting him use it as a moblie when he is too big.. he loves the stars I often put it in the hall way in the dark so he can enjoy them on all the walls and listen to the music. Its great to have 15 songs too he never gets bored. I also like that the swing does not have to move to play music and stars I often switch it on for him while he is playing on the floor. His is in such nice condition he has never eaten in it or had a mess... I want to eventually sale it to buy him some thing more for his age, its hard for us because we have been staying with my parents for my maternity leave so we can get the most out of my savings and I can stay home with my son longer before returning to work.. I might try to sale it here on amazon. I love this site it is the best and I really enjoy the quality and return policy for prime memenbers. I seriously buy everything on this site from diapers to toys there is so much good stuff.. wrkworkwk@yahoo.com

This is a great swing. Both of our sons loved it. However there is only a one year limited warranty on the swing. The swing stopped working (wouldn't swing) within a couple of weeks of using it for our second son. The swing was 2 years old. After researching it seems to be a common problem with this series of swings. I have the Ocean Wonders swing, but it is made the same as this swing. I found a DIY website where you can use the motor out of an Air Wick Freshmatic air freshener. I went to Kroger and purchased the Freshmatic Ultra for $7. I originally owned the my little lamb swing with batteries, which worked well. With my second child I wanted to upgrade to the model that plugs into an outlet because I was sick of changing the batteries. The platinum edition cradle n' swing is very noisy and turns into almost a game with my husband and I of who can position it just right so that it makes the least amount of noise. It becomes quite frustrating when the thing you are using to get your baby to sleep makes so much noise that it wakes the baby up. It seems like this thing is cheaply made and the swinging motion causes it to creak. Adjusting the legs around, pushing down on the motor part and other random tricks seem to make it quiet temporarily. For the price, I would expect it to work better.
