This was given to my daughter as a gift when she was born. It's one of the very first toys she could actually hold because it's so light and soft. Until she was a little stronger and more coordinated she'd hit herself in the head with her plastic toys/rattle. So, I definitely preferred this one. She still loves it at 7 1/2 months. The bright colors are nice and she likes the different textures and crinkle sounds in each of the nubs. The rattle sound is entertaining to her as well. This is a great buy!
