As a new parent, it didn't occur to me that my daughter would use her crib as a teether until it was too late. I have a Sorelle City Lights crib and the 52x6 fits the front rail perfectly. I also ordered the short rail pieces, and the end ties are a little short to place the tie where I wanted, so they bunch up a bit. But the crib is still adequately protected. My daughter pulls herself up on these constantly, and they've stayed put.The ends of these guards are velco, so you can pull the pad out and wash the covers only.My biggest complaint are the strength of the ties. One ripped in two as I was tying them in place, and I wasn't even pulling very hard. Obviously, you want a tight tie to keep these in place. I'm also not looking forward to untying this for cleaning, as the ties were too short to do anything other than a double knot.But overall they do the job, look nice, and I would recommend them. I wish I was a sewer, as it is a very simple design and should be easy to make at a fraction of the cost.
