(My son is napping in the carrier on me as I type this review)I got mine directly from the manufacturer (online ordering from their website), and I cannot tell you how relieved I was when I tried it out.I have a narrow frame (bra band of 28 or 30), and every other carrier I've tried causes me problems with bulk, or by the straps turning nearly on their sides from being pulled in so far, cutting into my shoulders/chest instead of sitting flat.The padding in the straps is not as dense as in any other SSC I've tried, which disappointed me when I unboxed it, but it has turned out more comfortable because they just squish and are cushy instead of turning on their sides and digging in (a huge problem for me with the BOBA Classic Baby Carrier 3G - Glacier, which I really, really wanted to work). I can even wear the straps crossed in a back carry without boob squishage, though that may just be me. The unconventional sleep hood actually works better with my son than the elastic-sided types.The webbing that comes out the side for the shoulder straps to buckle to actually goes all the way through the (unpadded, which stays cooler) main panel, holding my son's trunk more securely to my body without squishing his shoulders and face into my chest/back (and more securely than I could get the Beco Butterfly II Organic Baby Carrier with Black Base, Metro at all).I've even managed to nurse him while he's in it (I just loosened the straps to sag him down a bit). If not for the Bebe Au Lait Nursing Cover, Chateau Silver, I'm not sure anybody not staring at me would have realized I was nursing (I had it on because I was worried about parts showing at certain angles). While I wasn't, I'm fairly certain I could have been walking around while he nursed.I wish they'd have some of the features of the BOBA Classic Baby Carrier 3G - Glacier, but I really just wanted the purse strap buckle, so I've attached a reusable velcro cable tie around one of the sleep hood buckles on the shoulder strap, and that works just fine for now (it may need replacing as the velcro wears out, but that stuff comes in packs of multiple ties anyway).I should also note that, because of my frame (5'3", narrow, 105 lbs) and my husband's frame (6', 190 lbs, broad shouldered and barrel chested), we'd nearly given up on finding a carrier that would be comfortable for both of us. While my husband can't wear the straps crossed (they're not long enough), we're elated to find an option that doesn't have either of us compromising. My son seems to find it comfortable too. It has allowed to me venture out into public places with him, sans stroller.The manufacturer also offers a toddler carrier (wider base/taller body/higher weight limit), a child's doll carrier (mini version of this), a hip pouch, a toy strap (that buckles into the buckle for the sleep hood on the shoulder strap), and replacement chest straps (they're removable) with free shipping. The toddler and doll carriers came out earlier this month, and the hip pouch just came out last week--they're constantly improving their product line.I'd suggest venturing over to the manufacturer's site (google the product name) to choose your pattern/colors, because the pictures on the Amazon listing are a little mixed up.

I haven't used this carrier yet as our child hasn't been born yet, but I loved the quality of the stitching and material... It seems like it will hold up well.. It was simple to figure out how to adjust and strap it on, even without reading the clear directions.. (which I did afterward to make sure I had it right). The real test will come when the baby is here, but that won't be until April :)
