My son is 3 months old and I bought this sling to take with us on a trip. I also have the baby K'Tan which I loved for when my son was very small but the fabric is a little warm. This sling is great for warmer climates and while it doesn't distribute weight quite as well as the Baby K'Tan, it is certainly better than just carrying a baby, plus you can you use your hands for other things like carrying luggage through the airport. While I got it mostly for the function, I have gotten several compliments on how it looks.
