As soon as I pulled this out of the box, I was struck by how soft but study the cloth was. Then I unfolded it and loved how long it was! I was concerned that it would not fit me since I'm overweight and tall; I wear size 20-22 women's pants and size 18-20 dress. I weight 265 and am 5'8" and evenly proportioned. It is long enough that I can comfortably put it on and have just enough to tie it. It's very secure, and even when I untie it before I take it off, it stays nice and snug to my body, so I'm relieved that even should it somehow be untied while baby is in it, I know that baby will be safe while I re-tie it. It's super comfortable, and the weight of newborn was hardly noticeable! I've only used the cradle carry position so far, but I'm sure that it will be just and secure and comfortable as baby grows! Oh, and the color is great! It goes well with almost anything, and if you want it to be more flexible with your wardrobe (though most of the front of your shirt will be covered anyway), the Eclipse gray option looks nice too.
