Just received this product and it is exactly as described. It matches the Status Series 500 crib and is very well constructed and packaged well when shipped. So far very pleased with this.. Now to prepare for the baby!

I went back and forth on TONS of different dressers for my daughters nursery. Everything in the $300 price range was made with cardboard and easily scratched wood. They also all came unassembled and being 33 weeks pregnant and having my husband deployed, putting together a dresser with 100 parts didn't seem like something I was willing to do. I also didn't want to pay $600+ for an already assembled solid wood dresser like I did with my first daughter. I finally came across the status series and was VERY impressed by all the reviews on many different sites on every furniture piece they make along with the amazing price and it came assembled! They even brought it up to my daughters room with prime shipping. My only hesitation was the color. In the pictures the rubbed black looks espresso and I was worried it would not match the rest of the black furniture in my daughters nursery. I could not find any reviews talking about the color. It is definitely black! It is a GORGEOUS piece of furniture, the color is rich and smooth, it is made from all solid wood even the drawers and back of the dresser. No cardboard here! My ONLY 2 complaints would be the drawers are not on metal gliders they are on wood gliders and the drawers themselves are not finished on the inside like the little cubby shelves are. But I honestly can't complain about that because it is the same price if not cheaper than the lower end models that are made from cardboard. If you are hesitating about purchasing this, DONT! It was the best buy of her nursery overall.

We loved the way this was packaged, it was put together. So no assembly required so that was great. The unit itself is very pretty very functional we are very happywith this purchase
