I was expecting a nice thick, blanket, but this one is really fine cotton - I would rather have a thick baby blanket instead, like the ones I've bought in the past, particularly for this price!

I am very pleased with this blanket. I wanted one that was all cotton, since most baby blankets are polyester, which makes the baby sweat. Cotton is warm but it "breathes." Most 100% cotton baby blankets are expensive and/or small, but this one is both large and reasonably priced. It is thick - appears to be a double layer. It has been through the washer and dryer several times without pilling or fraying, though the color has faded just slightly. If you're wondering, there is no special edging on it, it's just stitched together, but the seam is holding fine and it seems to be very well made.
