Made from the same breathable, preshrunk 100% cotton flannel as our Ultimate Receiving Blankets with soft satin trimmed edges. The zzZipMe Sack is a wearable blanket that features a clever 2-way zipper (patent pending design) opens from the bottom as well as the top. The zipper zips down from the top making it easy to place baby into sack and also zips up from the bottom keeping baby snugly warm during diaper changes. So easy. This zzZipMe Sack has a TOG rating of 0.7 which is appropriate for temperatures of 72-78 degrees F caused by warmer weather (the temperature range medical experts recommend for sleep environments is 65 - 70 degrees F). I can't praise this product enough.Sure, the concept of the sleep-sack alone is phenomenal. You can keep your baby bundled, warm, and sleeping. No getting up in the night to re-roll the baby-burrito.As a personal preference, we got our two babies into sleep-sacks fairly early. We like the idea that they can still feel covered and warm while also allowing their legs and arms to move freely, without them getting loose!We had purchased another brand that we weren't too excited about. The materials weren't as soft and warm and they had a single sipper only allowing you to open from the top down.The SwaddleDesigns zzZipMe sacks are the best we have found. The materials, cloth, are nice and soft and warm. They come with two zippers which allow you to open from the bottom up to do a quick diaper check or change. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT AT 3AM!!!We use them year-round using long-sleeve or short-sleeve onesies, depending on the weather.
