I received this product as a gift before baby was born and at first thought that we would never use it. After baby was several months old, I decided to give it a try in a shopping cart to have an extra layer between him and the cold shopping cart (and also I thought the cute pattern would be fun to try out). I do admit that it took a little practice to get the hang of it, but once I did I found that I liked it. The best part is the extra wide strap and the non-bulkiness of it. I have another cover that is huge and puffy (and does cover more) but just had holes to use the shopping cart's own straps. I've found that I don't miss that the whole cart isn't covered. The only part about grocery cart seats that grosses me out is the straps and sometimes the seat bottom.The best part about this product however is the strap to the seat feature. I wish I had figured it out earlier. We used it twice yesterday and both times had moms coming up to us wanting to look at it and wondering where they could get one. Let me explain. When we go out to eat we stuff it easily into our backpack/diaperbag (as you just need the strap part it hardly takes up any room at all). When it's time to eat we simply strap our son into the chair and he is ready to eat! No high chair! This is especially good for us because our son never really liked restaurant high chairs and would rarely sit in one long enough for us to finish our own meal. He is strapped in securely and easily (and is comfy) and LOVES it because he is sitting in a big boy chair. Now everyone gets to finish eating. :-) It's also great for going to other people's houses. Before we would tote around our Spacesaver high chair. This is so much easier!! He is 21 months now (around 30 lb and almost 3 feet) and can sit on a chair by himself, but feels more secure strapped in. Also, it washes really well (ours still looks just as cute after many washes). I would highly recommend this to anyone as long as you take the time to look at the pictures on the front of the package that show how to use it as a seat strap and don't mind the learning curve. It's worth it!

This travel seat cover is an evening saver. Too many times, we get to a restaurant we really want to try only to find that their high chairs are all missing seat straps. The Nojo Secure-Me 2 in 1 Travel Seat keeps our kid from sliding out through the leg holes while we eat, which means we can actually concentrate on eating and enjoying our meal rather than constantly reaching for the kid. We've used it a few times in shopping carts with broken straps as well.We never use the part that is designed to go over the handle of the shopping cart. We bought this as a safety device, not as a way to keep the child from having to touch anything in the world that hasn't been disinfected. If you are a germaphobe, you may find it disconcerting that this seat does not cover every square inch of the highchair or shopping cart. But, if you simply want to keep your kid safe and prevent them from falling or climbing out of their seat, then you will find this item quite useful.It's also quite cute. We got the one with the giraffes on it.

I guess you get what you pay for. We got this as a gift and if I could remember from whom I would give it back. This this barely covers the seat or the edges. My little sweetie put her hands and mouth all over this stupid thing so I spent most of my time in the store trying to keep her from touching the cart. Look at the picture and you will see what I mean. It's awful awful awful. Do not buy this thing
