My daughter-in-law was over today with her 6 week old baby. We were talking about some of the things she received as gifts that she has really enjoyed using. The nursing cover by The Peanut Shell is her favorite cover. The reason she likes it so much is the clasp that clips the strap that goes around the neck to the cover is different from other covers she has. Since I couldn't see the clasp in the product picture and didn't see it described anywhere, I thought a review would be beneficial. The clasp is similar to ones that fasten the strap on overalls. Once she has adjusted the length to her liking, it stays there. It's also easy to fasten and unfasten. She doesn't have to thread the strap through the rings as she has to do on other covers she has. This one can be clasped with one hand, also unlike the others. Since you are usually holding a baby, this is pretty important. She said there is a generous amount of fabric to cover her and the baby and the fabric bows out slightly at her neckline allowing her to keep an eye on the baby. The button on hers is firmly attached. One of my daughters is expecting twins in a few months. I am definitely planning on getting her one of these.

This product looks great. Is longer than the waist so lots of versatiliy. The molded section at the top is perfect.

First of all, all covers do they get hot for the child (which is why it's not 5 stars). It is great though, after a wash it still remained that size, and has worked great. I am glad for the thickness of the fabric so it's not see through, and the neck rim is really strong and has worked great to see the baby when feeding and keep everything covered when others are around.
