I have used several types of carriers and a few different wraps and this one is hands down the best one. The material is light and breathable so baby (and you) don't overheat - I carried my newborn around in July in Phoenix in this. It's portable, easily stores in a diaper bag. It's washable! It's also pretty.I did not find it difficult to learn to use, it's actually much easier than the stretchy wraps. I also was able to tie it once and pop baby in and out several times before I felt the need to tighten it again. I can't recommend this enough.Note for those who are worried: this is not the same as a sling. Wearing this wrap your baby is vertical and there is airflow around baby's face with no fabric covering the face. This type of carrier is safe.

PROS - the wrap is a pretty color (I have the green one) and appears to be well made. It is a lightweight cotton that is significantly cooler to wear than the Moby. It is a good length although about a meter shorter than the Moby - I have to tie it in the back rather than the front with most wraps.CONS - the main issues have to do with the type of fabric used, as compared to many of the nicer (but more expensive) woven wraps. The fabric is somewhat stiff, which can make it uncomfortable to wear when it bunches, especially against bare skin (when wearing a tank top, for example). The smaller width makes it somewhat less versatile - for example, I find it harder to do nursing carries in this wrap. There is also no stretch to the fabric at all - many woven wraps do have a little bit of stretch along the width of the fabric, which can make wrapping a lot easier.In summary, I do like this wrap, but I wouldn't want it as my sole wrap. Currently I use it along with a Moby, and I'm planning to upgrade to a nicer woven wrap soon, as my baby is getting heavier and I'd like a little more ease and versatility. However, if you're just looking for a back-up wrap, or want a less expensive product to try out before committing to a higher priced woven wrap, then this is a good choice.

I love this wrap....better than the moby wrap, My baby loves it too- the fabric isnt as hot as the moby wrap fabric and works out great for warm weather....obviously when its too hot-it gets to be to hot to even hold your baby because of the body heat- but this is great for when its a little cooler especially if you dont want to lug the stroller around....
