We have been using this sine the baby was 6 months old. Baby is almost 2 yr old now,loves to ride in it. We have gone on 4 -5 hour hikes and the carrier was pretty comfortable. Make sure to wear good supportive hiking boots, you donot realize that weight of the baby + baby food, cloths etc+ water : quickly adds ups to a 50 lb back pack.

We LOVE this carrier! Living in NH there are so many mountains to climb and now we can do so in comfort! This carrier does not hurt your back like others do, the weight is evenly distributed and the carrier itself is not too heavy.Every detail was carefully thought out from the sun shade, to the camera pouch to the auto kick stand. We got this item on sale, but would have gladly paid full price...it's that good. The evergreen color is very attractive and most importantly our little boy LOVES it too. The second we put him in it he starts smiling!
