Thing seems very well made. Is quite heavy for its size - guessing it's made from pretty thick tubing. Mounts quite securely - included fasteners have lock-tite on them. Seems to do a good job holding the seat in place - thing doesn't move at all once installed. Minus one star because there seems to be a piece of welding slag or something inside one of the tubes, but it can't really be heard or noticed on the bike... If I could do 4 1/2 stars I would, but don't want to give 5 when it did have an obvious flaw. Likely just an issue with mine, though - doubt it's a common problem.
