Having a baby carrier has been essential for me; this was the only way I could soothe my baby to sleep for the first month of her life and it also allowed me to get things done around the house when she didn't want to be put down in the daytime. PROs: good price, securely holds baby close, nice style, good head support for a newborn, baby can face in or out, great for being out and about when a stroller is too bulky. CONs: hurts my back after awhile, tough to remove a sleeping baby without waking them, side buckle takes some practice to get used to. At this price, this is a great buy; however if I was going to use it everyday for a long time I'd have to invest in something more comfortable.
