Bought these for my 3 month old grandaughter. Specifically I was looking for wrist rattles with an elephant's face. She is teething and enjoys chewing on the nose as it is firm enough but doesn't taste of plastic. So far it is holding up just fine. The gentle rattle sound is just loud enough that she is reminded that it is there, but not startled by accidental movement when she is soothing herself.
