The hold on handle has changed the way I do errands with my 2 1/2 yr old. I used to have to carry him everywhere or chase him up and down isles of the market. Now he happily holds on to his spider handle while we walk thru parking lots and department stores or even the airport next to his 2 older siblings. not really ideal for me. nothing wrong with it but i didn't like it. if your child listens to hold on to this they will listen to stay close if not they need a leash.
