I bought two of these pigs at a local retail store. I gave one to my grandson who is almost 3 years old. He LOVED it! He gathered all of the change in the house, kept putting it in the pig all day and then took the pig to bed with him. While he was putting the coins in, we taught him the different denominations. He is also learning to save money. But, the best part is that the "oink, oink" and the ears going up and down make him smile and laugh and clap his hands. I also bought one for my 80 year old mother and, guess what! It put a smile on her face, too! She also loves this cute little bank. I would recommend it for any age.
