After reading the other reviews, I bought this table and chair set for my two-year-old granddaughter. She is delighted with the set, and so is her family. I found out the chairs are very sturdy, as I was asked by my granddaughter to "sit" down at the table to enjoy some pretend food. I was hesitant, and my son and daughter-in-law told me the chairs were sturdy enough; they had enjoyed many a "meal" in those chairs with my granddaughter. She spends time at the table daily; it has become one of her favorite places to do a variety of activities. The one caution is that the decorative highlights on the table make the top not completely smooth, so if this table is for art, I would recommend some kind of "topper." Overall, though, of all the items I have bought for my granddaughter, I have found this to be her favorite. That, of course, makes it mine as well.

I bought this item for my grandaughter who is just turning 1. Her parents love it and think she will too - when she gets old enough to use it properly. It seems sturdy, is colorful and was easy to assemble. It should provide years of enjoyment.
