We purchased this seat for our 4 week old who has terrible reflux and gas pains. Feeding has been a challenge! We can put our son in this seat while he feeds and it's the perfect angle to help with his reflux. The vibrations also seem to soothe his tummy pain. He often falls asleep in this seat after he eats. It's also very light weight and portable (easier to move around than a typical bouncer seat). Definitely worth trying if your child has reflux or digestive issues.

I think this may fit some babies fine, but the shape/position of my sons head left his chin on his chest. He was also too long for it and he's only 23 inches.

Being a new, first time parent is quite a learning experience. I prepared myself by reading numerous baby guides to figure out what I needed to buy before my baby was born. Many of the things I was told I would need, I rarely use, but as I go along, I discover things I actually do need. A few weeks after my son was born, I realized he need a place to sit when he wasn't sleeping and I wasn't holding him. Because his neck muscles weren't strong enough to sit up, I wanted to find something reclining that was appropriate for a younger baby. His bouncer and swing were still a little too big, so I searched Amazon. I found this tummy comfort chair and it sounded perfect. I was even more impressed after it arrived and we started using it regularly. My son often has gas after eating and I need to hold him upright. When that isn't feasible or my arms get tired, I put him in his tummy comfort chair. I love that it's lightweight because I move it around the house so he can be wherever I am. I also like the vibration feature--it seems to help soothe my son when he has gas discomfort and it also helps him sleep. I don't like lugging around a heavy car seat carrier, so I always take the tummy comfort chair when we visit relatives and friends. It folds up easily and is very compact and portable. When we get where we are going, I leave the car seat in the car and just take in the tummy comfort seat. It is easier on me and looks far more comfortable for him.The chair itself is soft and cushy and easy to clean. The vibration feature works really well and the chair is stable with grippy feet on it. It is a little pricey when you consider how lightweight and simple it is, but it is definitely one of the best baby investments I've made. As much as I use it, it really pays off. I've even considered buying an extra to leave at Grandma's house.
