But it's very sturdy otherwise.Stroller is a bit large when folded up but it's not advertised as being "compact".Have been using this for 6 months for my daughter. The carrier feels very safe and yet not too heavy. I've never used any other system but this is everything I could have wanted. The carrier also fits nicely into the stroller, car base and shopping carts. I like the basket in the bottom of the stroller for shopping. It's a very smooth ride for our baby. I picked this one since I live in NE Ohio and knew all those strollers with tiny plastic wheels wouldn't get me across a slushy parking lot in the middle of January. I also love going for walks and wanted something that I could take on dirt or gravel paths in the summer. Overall its a very solid, attractive and stable system.
