By Stefphanni
This bouncer has several advantages over the other bouncers I've seen or used, I don't know why this one isn't more popular.* The canopy! We fold this bouncer up and take it to the park. The canopy blocks the sun. Indoors, it blocks the overhead light which is great when baby is sleeping. We set all kinds of things on top of the canopy.. a spare pacifier, a spit up rag.. Also, the canopy has two little pockets for the toys which close with velcro. We have discovered that when the toys are placed in the pockets, the ribbons that attach the toys to the canopy become loops from which we have attached our own toys on ring chains. The strangest thing, and this may only be our son, but there is a picture printed on the inside of the canopy that our son is fascinated by. He made his first "squeal with delight" while gazing lovingly at the ladybug(?) printed on the canopy. He is more interested in the canopy than in the toys that come with it.* Hammock back. This was the best and worst feature for us. As far as comfort is concerned, the hammock back is ideal.. there are no hard supports in the back like many bouncers and it did not cause a flat bald spot from putting too much pressure on his head like chairs that are too firm can. There are two bars running along each side of the chair and the fabric in the middle is the only thing cradling your child's back. The fabric is pulled taut enough, that there is adequate neck support and our son's chin never sunk down to his chest while sitting in this bouncer. The chair is so cozy, he could nap in this chair and I would feel very certain he was safe. When our son kicks, the seat bounces gently and he seems to love it. The downside is that as he got heavier, like a hammock, the sides are pulled closer together and he began to look more and more like a little burrito. At three months old we are trying to find a larger bouncer that compares to this one. I must clarify that our three month old is HUGE. He's already 20 pounds and 27" long. This bouncer chair would last much longer with a small or normal sized baby. The length of the back is still long enough, which has been a problem with other bouncers. He is nearing the maximum length for most infant seat backs and his head will hit the support bar on classic style bouncers and even the infant-to-toddler rockers by FP!* Sturdy frame. The cross style frame is unlike any other bouncer I've seen and it feels very sturdy. Some bouncers seem so flimsy or could tip over easily. This is great if there are other small children in the room, that might lean on the side of the chair to see the baby. It would be nearly impossible to tip over in this situation, because the top edges are spring loaded, and will simply flex down rather than pull the entire frame to the side.* Vibration is subtle. The vibration vibrates in the lower part of the seat but is only weakly vibrating the top part of the chair. Our son seems to prefer this. Some bouncers vibrate a little too strong. This may depend on what your baby likes.* Collapsible. The chair comes nearly fully assembled in the box because it collapses down flat. Great for storing or carrying to the park.

By Ash B.
My son really loves this bouncy seat. We've been using this as an alternative to the rock n play sleeper b/c we have such a low bed. I've also brought it outside on warm days and found the canopy to be a really useful feature. The music isn't too annoying and the volume level is tolerable. My son stares at the 2 toys on the canopy when it's down but for the most part we keep the canopy in the back position during everyday use. It is pretty easy to fold and unfold. What I like the most about this bouncer is that it is very stable and hard to tip or collapse. We have a cheaper model for downstairs and we've had instances where my older son(3) has leaned in to kiss the baby and bent the frame all the way back to the floor, this also happens if he sits in it(which is inevitable). This bouncy seat accomodates my 3 year old perfectly without any issues(not that we let him use it) and he can lean on it when talking to the baby and it won't tip.I rated this 4 stars b/c sometimes the music "skips". This only started happening after about 3 months of pretty heavy usage.

By E. Kerby
As a new mom, I didn't know much about bouncy seats. Our daughter doesn't care for her swing when she is awake, but when she is sad she LOVES for us to sit on the exercise ball and bounce her. So, I thought a bouncy seat would be GREAT, because then maybe we wouldn't have to hold her ALL THE TIME. I would love to be able to take a shower occasionally, if you know what I mean.Well, evidently bouncy seats don't really bounce. It's more of a vibrator seat. It kind of reminds me of those "massage" chairs at shopping malls, where you can put in $2 in quarters, and for a couple minutes it will vibrate different spots around your back...but I digress...I'm not really sure if all "bouncy" seats are vibrator seats, or whether it's just this seat. This seat DOES have springs that hold the seat in place, so I think theoretically it could become a bouncier seat when my daughter is big enough to kick and propel herself a little.Unfortunately, the vibrator seat really doesn't cut it for our kiddo--she likes it all right if she is already happy, for a little while, but it doesn't have nearly the same soothing effect for her as our bouncing on the exercise ball does. When this seat arrived, I had some trouble assembling it. It doesn't seem like it would be very hard to assemble! But, you've got to attach a couple of the bottom legs to the bottom center button, and one of the legs would NOT go in. We did get it eventually, but I was a little frustrated to have to fight it so much. The music that this plays is not obnoxious. It's kind of cute.My daughter LOVES staring at the red dangling hedgehog (or porcupine? whatever that creature is). She'll stare at him for a while. It is easy to fold this bouncy seat. That was the thing that enticed me to purchase THIS bouncy seat instead of another one; we have a small house, so I thought it would be nice to not have to have one more baby thing out all the time. So far I think we've only folded it up twice, though. It usually just stays in our office, and this is our baby's seat when Daddy is "watching" her while he works.Overall, I am still glad we purchased this seat, because our baby still cannot sit on her own (she is just barely 2 months old) and this puts her in a good position for watching whatever is going on. It is also easy to move around.
