I tried to make my own rail covers using receving blankets and ties that I had on hand. My son was able to move the blankets around and get it un-done and it became a constant hassle to resituate the blankets on the rails on a daily basis. I finally broke down and got these and they work great. No more fixing the coverings everyday. They stay on and the crib rails are no longer exposed for my son to chew on. I should have gotten these a lot sooner!
