In the development of the BPA Free Feeding system, thinkbaby created a set free of potentially harmful chemicals such as: BPA, phthalates, nitrosamines, lead, PVC, and biologically toxic chemicals. Our feeding set is also free of melamine. Early laboratory research has shown melamine based tableware to leach melamine at various temperatures and when combined with other chemicals (such as formaldehyde and cyanuric) have the potential to pose a risk. As thinkbaby expects the debate to begin on the safety of this chemical, the research they reviewed led them to ask a simple question. Does the product have to have melamine. Nope. So they built our set to be completely free of it. The Feeding Set was designed for a wide range of feeding ages. I love this product. I was worried about all the pthalates, BPA and PVC in plastic dishes. This is great. The metal bowls come out for easy cleaning. It's also great if you make your own baby food. You can put the frozen cubes in the metal part and set it in warm water, it defrosts very quickly. I love that I don't have to worry about chemicals leaching into my daughter's food.
