I have had this seat now for several years. At first my son was probably around 3 years and 35 pounds and had outgrown another seat in the height,even though the weight limit was 40lbs. I new that I wanted him in a 5 point harness as long as possible. This idea was in its infancy. So when this seat went to 65 pounds, I knew that I wanted it. It also was more affordable than some of the others at that time. What I found is that this seat is huge. It swollowed him up, and it goes as low as 20 pounds. Well he is now 8 and has plenty of growing room while using it as a booster. It looks more like a big kids seat than a baby seat. It is wider and longer in the seat than many other boosters. For the child who is >65pounds this is great. It definatley gives his legs more support than other boosters that we have used. This is the seat that we use when taking long trips. It is definatley the one that is more comfortable for him. I am so glad that I got this seat as we still have 1+ year before it expires and he will be using it till then. The downfall and the reason I gave it a 4 star rating is that the underside of the seat is not flat and smooth. So whatever car we have used it in, now has marks from the indentions of the seat. The other thing that I did not like is it has always been harder to tighten the chest straps down. I can not explain it, but I have to pull alot harder than any other seat we have used. As he got bigger we talked to the company because he was outgrowing his straps. They may have changed this by now. We were also given a longer crotch strap.It is a good seat especially as a booster.
