Britax, and other car seat manufacturers, do not allow the use of ANY after-market products with their seats. Using this cover will automatically void the warranty on your seat. Why? Because it is not safe. The extra plush minky material will compact in the event of a crash, creating extra slack in the harness which prevents it from properly securing your child. Also, legally all car seats and covers must be fire-retardant... a car accident is the most likely place your child will encounter flames. This cover would burst into flames if exposed to even a small fire, the rules are in place for a reason- to protect the child riding in the seat. Please, no matter how cute it is, DO NOT use after-market covers with your car seat!!!!!!Also, if you don't like the cover on your seat, Britax sells approved, crash-tested, fire-retardant covers in various colors and patterns on their website.
