      Product Description


      The Optional Catch is ONLY required when the Door Monkey is used in an application with nonstandard door stop moulding. Door stop moulding is the portion of the door frame that the door closes against. Typically it is rectangular with square edges, but a small percentage of custom applications use door stop moulding with a rounded or beveled edge. In these cases the Optional catch must be installed. See the third product image above for more details.

      After purchasing the Door Monkey, I discovered I don't have standard door jambs (standard are squarish, no bevels). Once I installed this Optional Catch, the Door Monkey worked exactly as described. It would be great if the Door Monkey included the Optional Catch, but overall this is a MARVELOUS product!
