I have always bought Graco products since my 1st was born. I have always loved them because of ease of use, until this one. I bought this for our upcoming baby, and wanted to test it out. My 6 year old son, who weighs 39 lbs tried it first. I had no issues tightening the harness or getting it properly adjusted to fit him. I also tried it with my 1 year old niece (who, when properly adjusted was on the 3rd slot from the bottom)and could not get the harness to tighten evenly and I could also not get enough slack out of the harness for her to be properly adjusted in it. I could still pinch the slack in the harness, so it was not properly adjusted. I had absolutely no problems with the harness when it was not in the vehicle - only when it was properly installed in the vehicle did the car seat present problems. I should also add that I only tested the car seat installed rear facing since that would be our primary use for awhile with a newborn.Other than the problems with the harness, install was super easy with the premium LATCH connectors. That was one thing I LOVED about this car seat. I also love that the car seat supports Extended Rear Facing with a weight limit of 40 lbs and the height below the red harness adjustment handle.Suggestions to Graco - fix the harness issues and I would have no problems buying this car seat again.
