Just bought this for our 5 year old, 42 lb, daughter and it did great on a 6 hour trip. She fell asleep for 2-2 1/2 hours and did not appear to be uncomfortable at all...her head rested comfortably on the side of the head rest. I like how straight it sits and I feel much safer with this than a backless booster seat. She even commented herself how comfortable it is. A great, safe and reasonably priced booster!
