This was pretty easy to install. I bought it for the "cabinet" under my son's bed (there are drawers and cabinets under the bed, can't remember what "kind" of bed it is). I store the sheets under there but the cats kept getting in there to find a cozy place to sleep. They can't get in there now! It was a little difficult for me to screw the little screws in but even having to lay on the floor, I got them in! If the crafty cats can't get the locks I don't think a little one can.
