I was hesitant about the disposable idea, but reasoned that I only wore my wedding dress once - and that was way more expensive than this.I was a size 6 before pregnancy, so I was concerned about the one size fits all approach. When the gown arrived, the front opening was too big (could see underwear) but I stitched it up a bit and all was good.Was great at the hospital - everytime they had to hook up the baby / contraction monitors, they could just use that front opening - instead of the usual method, which is to shove the hospital gown up to your ribs and throw a sheet over your lower half. This was much more comfortable, physically and mentally.Alas, after 17 hours of labor I ended up getting an epidural. The nurses said the cut of the gown was roomy enough to allow the epidural, but the anesthesiologist was a stickler - if you might end up in the operating room, you were going to wear a hospital gown. So, our baby arrived while wearing a yucky hospital gown (and in the OR to boot - quite a night!) This was still a good purchase though - I really valued the modesty it allowed during most of my labor, and I felt confident while walking the halls and seeing people.
