5.0 out of 5 starsVery happy with these faucet extenders!June 7, 2012

I've been very satisfied with these Prince Lionheart faucet extenders so far! Here's why:- Works as advertised: extends the flow of water so that my toddler can reach it.- Fits my oddly-shaped faucet with no problem!! (This was my biggest concern when making this purchase, but it turned out to be a non-issue. I've attached an image so that you can see the faucet.)- Costs LESS THAN HALF of the leading competitor's brand: at the time I made my purchase, Prince Lionheart provided 2 faucet extenders for $10, whereas the Aqueduck cost more than twice as much, only providing 1 for $13.- Perfectly serviceable color options - nothing garish, easy to coordinate with your decor. The main "con" is that I have to make sure my toddler (20 months) doesn't grab onto it and try to pull, because I think it's possible that he could break it, since the plastic "neck" of the extender is flexible. (It has to be flexible, in order to fit over the faucet.) But that's an issue that isn't really specific to the product -- he would try to grab and pull any such device, and it's been easy enough to keep him from damaging it. One other thing to keep in mind as well, is that by bringing the flow of water closer to the front edge of the sink, you end up with a much larger splash zone (i.e. more water ends up on the vanity). But again, I imagine that this is something that would happen with any such device, not just the Prince Lionheart brand.Paired with a step stool in front of the sink, my toddler can now step up and reach the water himself, which has proven to be critical to getting him to enjoy brushing his teeth and washing his hands. Prior to getting the faucet extender (and step stool), he HATED having his teeth cleaned and would fight us every time. Now he actually enjoys it (although of course we still have to assist in order to make sure his teeth are really cleaned). Would he be able to reach the water with just the step stool? Probably, although not as comfortably (he would have to reach/stretch) and therefore NOT as safely. For what is basically $5 per extender, this purchase definitely has been worth it for us.
